SAIA linehaul ? Anyone know what the drop and hook pay is ? How long do you wait at said terminal ?

 

One of my former XPO co-workers said he’s usually in and out of Minneapolis in a few hours. He didn’t say why it took so long though.

 

just talked to my buddy over there. They are going to the AI cameras Monday. Sounds fun. Glad I left.

Some Dayton Freight terminals have added A.I. cameras and i don’t see ppl leaving. I’ve already dealt with them only real difference is they talk to you going 5 or 10 mph over the speed limit and looking away from the windshield for a long period of time

 

Lol. Yeah do that at Saia. You’ll be sitting in his office reviewing that video with the TM. Other companies probably won’t care about that. Saia is trying to tell you how to safely drive whenever they can.

 

I delivered to an Amazon DC.

lemme tell you their security is a robot and a camera with an Indian guy talking on the other line.

I never seen such a thing. Super rude; had the audacity to ask me if I spoke English-when he was asking me questions because I couldn’t understand him (heavy accent). I think I have aphasia; I can’t understand certain accents. It might as well be whale mating calls.

they’re coming for our jobs, boys. Gen-Z is screwed. Ai and robots gonna kill everything

 

Lmao …. Every Amazon i have ever been to. Same #### they like 8 different foreigners with horrible accents that you have to communicate with. I started to think they are doing the #### on purpose seeing how a lot of foreigners haul Amazon loads anyway

 

I also delivered to a place called “ID logistics”.

it was literally Amazon, but being down via a third party.

they’re turning their warehousing to DSP/fedex ground type contractors now too!

that’s insane!

 

They are not switching to AI cameras, They are adding a feature that alerts drivers when they are fatigued,It won’t even be a coachable event or a recorded event it just a audible alert..We just had a safety meeting last week about this change
