I'm a diabetic and have to go all the time. But if you manage your time with scheduled stops you can control even the worst bladder. I see the truckers buying them half gallon fountain drinks and I know they have to go.
Of course alot of us use pee bottles/jugs because the lack of facilities and convenience. The only place for them is a trash can or dumpster if you have any sense.
I picked up at a USDA controlled food warehouse this morning. As I set up to back to a dock, there was the next driver peeing behind his cab. Cmon, geez, this is a food warehouse. Some drivers just don't care. It's sad the bad habits they carry and lack of regards for the next person.
I'd like to see the day when truck cabs are 2 foot longer and we have a toilet as factory equipment. There's no reason why there can't be dump stations at truck stops and rest areas that we could use to clean the holding tank out. RV's, boats, trains and planes alrready use them, so why not truckers?
One of my favorite parts of being home is being able to get out of bed and walk a few steps to a bathroom. Heaven!![]()

I'm glad you don't throw yours out going down the highway in the sky!

Ammonia is produced by the breaking down of the urine itself. No need for a mixer. Having said that, mixing chlorine bleach with ammonia produces chlorine gas which is very bad stuff ... I would rinse it out with water real well first.

Most stable gases have eight electrons surrounding the atom. Chrlorine gas has only seven electrons and violently searches for that eighth electron from it's surroundings. That's when you breathe it it tears away at your trachea and lungs as it breaks down the atoms robbing that last electron. Very, very painful death.

dont reuse the same bottle. unless you carry disinfectant spray with you in the truck to spray it out. you can get a urinary track infection. OUCH. stepping behind the cab not an option for me. I drive a century with skirts all the way back and a catwalk all the way across. I found that 1 liter soda bottles and Gatorade bottles tend to work real good as they have the wide mouth. and most the time are just the right size for 1 time use then toss them in the dumpster. If you dont carry a 5 gal pal or a sturdy trashcan in the truck you will regret life at some point in time. they make for a great throw up bucket if you get real sick while your way to far to make it home. You will learn why most of us carry a bottle of that pink stuff in our coolers. The runs from the choke n puke that we ate at the night before combined with next rest stop 90 miles just to see that its closed for some unknown reason :/

I use a half gallon coffee thermos.
Advantages:
vacuum seal - no smell
wide mouth opening- no drippage
dumping it out- no one is the wiser to the contents
Disadvantages:
team mate ran out of coffee earlier- steals some of yours without asking first LOLHanadarko Thanks this. -
OMFG - That's awesome....

-
That is priceless. Just priceless.

That's just as bad as the Dr. Pepper incident I mentioned in a previous thread.
I'm just glad I wasn't the drinker in either case......
