1) McDonald's "up here" has Paul Newman's gourmet

2) Dunkin Donuts

3) Autocrat (local company up here)

4) Maxwell House

5) Honey Dew (local donut shops up here)

 

I absolutely detest Pilot truck stops; the only reason I even stop there is because 80% of my company's fuel stops are "pee-lots". However, Pilot's coffee is about the only redeeming value of that entire chain. It's actually pretty good stuff.

Home ground, 75% "Seattle's Best" blended with 25% Kona freshly ground and made with my awesome mountainside deep well water.

Kona

One of the biggest trepidations for me with becoming a truck driver was "where am I gonna get my coffee fix every day?" Imagine my surprise at the trucker's secret world of showers and cheap coffee!
I used to pay $10 a pound for Kona -- you mean I can fill this whole entire thermos with coffee for only $1.39? What? Free with 50 gallons of diesel? Wonderful!

 

The best coffee in the world is made on a cold Oct morning. Drinking that first cup and listening to that big bull Elk bugle. Elk hunting opens the 10th and soon I'll be drinking that coffee and listening........
