I was sitting at a truck stop in Wayne PA a few nights ago and I had a Swift truck back in next to me.
Older gentleman was driving the truck and he smiled and waved when he was done backing.
I had just woken up, so I waved, but was not really in a friendly mood.
But at the time I thought "I wonder if that is OldNew".
Then figured naaaaa. No way, they have way too many trucks and drivers to just run into someone.
Plus he is running 48 states, so he is most likely not in this area.
Then I look on here today and I see that he was in Wilkes Barre that day. That is less than 30 miles from where I was parked. I still doubt it was him parked next to me. But it was still funny that he was in the area. I was at the Howe's 84.
Anyway. I am at the TA in Lodi today. I was too tired to make it to the J down south like I planned. And my preplan after I deliver this is not till noon tomorrow anyway. Headed back to Smyrna DE for Sunday.
Where are you

This is a common post minus the word next....
outerspacehillbilly Thanks this. -
Good one.
Actually it was a large fairly open lot at the time. He backed in with no issue. But I was up and watching just in case.
BTW, that pic on your posts really freaks me out. I don't know why. -
That is my wife. She said she was gonna keep an eye on me. So I put it on there for a reminder. She is trying to figure out my pass word to remove it....

Where at? I'm at International on Sara St getting my a/c recharged. Always seems to happen in Texas...

Nope, not me. I shutdown at the receiver in Wilkes-Barre, delivered there yesterday morning then headed up to Tobyhanna PA. Now sitting at the Swift terminal in Jonestown. Hope to meet up with you one of these days though.

Tarps, can't you be nice about Swift just once?

Just yesterday, I was given the worst slot in the lot to park in. The Mexican peanut gallery wanted a show, apparently. Well, I gave them one. Pulled in, got lined up and backed it in with no pullups. From what the yard guy said, none of those cross-border daycab drivers could make that slot. I left them all hanging their heads in shame.
Some Swift drivers can actually drive.1nonly Thanks this. -
I was just off Kill 'em Industrial Blvd in what looked to be a Werner lot, as there were a bunch of 'em.
Now I'm back at the Pumpkin Patch waiting to see how long it'll take me to escape.
Actually, this is the first time I've been held up in Laredo in about 2 1/2 years, so it's really no biggie. -
I have no idea where that yard is. Anywhere near Swift? They're finished with me-cold air-YAY!
I'm headed back to the yard...behind Pilot. -
Nevermind. Now I do. I'll swing by there and hang out by the gate for a minute or two, but if nobody comes out I'll just take off. I'm bobtail and this truck is kind of noticeable.
