Lived in Raleigh, NC back when there was a 2 ft + snowfall that happened overnight. Watching the news, there was a shot of I-40 near the airport. Plow was trying to clear the snow and the traffic was lined up behind him. Well, seems this one particular vehicle/driver decided that the plow was not moving fast enough for his liking. Decided to go around the plow and get moving. Not far down the road was a car that was nose first in a snow bank, it was Impatient One. The camera zoomed in on the license plate and the tag was from NEW JERSEY!So it seems that there are some NORTHERNERS that can't drive in the white stuff either.
And we call 'em SNOWBIRDS down here. Hmmm!
Southern states to get snow freezing rain and ice.

huh? I do have a couple quarts of shine on the table, peach & straight, but unfortunately drugs are far easier to get than shine. do a google for "moonshine capitol of the world" I live under 10 miles from that area, & even I have some trouble getting it regularily, I get 3 to 4 quarts a year.

Shine has went the way of the dinosaur...almost. Meth cooking has taken it's place. When I was a boy I carried many a sack of sugar up through the woods for pop to brew sugarhead. I don't drink often but when I do I prefer sour mash.

I came from Denton Texas this morning 011011 to get to my terminal in Lancaster Texas. Going through downtown Dallas every bridge was slick with ice. Cars would spin out then race up to the next bridge and do it again. Saw a tanker with a Ford F150 impaled sideways on his front bumper. It sucks because these 4 wheelers get impatient with the truck drivers who are going a little slower/wiser and then spin out causing accidents for the truck driver.

It's big in this area too. You can buy it anytime. I watched a PBS show one time on the history of stills back in the prohibition days. It started up in PA and as the law cracked down they kept moving deeper in the woods. They made their way to VA and WV and eventially KY and TN. Thats's why today many of the legal distilleries are in KY and TN. Now it's back woods meth labs. We even had one guy blow himself up making meth on a boat out on the lake. DOH

Beer is essential for hurricanes! Every time that is a hurricane forecast to hit Florida, people make major beer runs. Have actually seen people walk out with several cases of beer and nothing else.
