K....rap. Just got a call from dispatch saying they have a load for me that picks up between 8a-2p in GA. Deadhead miles are around 360 which means I can't wait until people wake up to drive me to my truck, so I have to call a cab and head out.

Good thing I took a few naps today.

You know me better than that. I actually talked to him. And I was less than impressed. I know how hard it is to keep a truck clean up here. And I know what a POS truck looks, smells and sounds like. I tried pulling forward, couldn't go very far back due to the snow bank. His APU exhaust was pointed right into the lower part of my cab. So why are you busting my chops about this guy anyway?

How many times have you made commentary about a driver based on the company name written on the wagon? And how many times have I had to ignore comments about the company I do business with? Shoe's on the other foot and it's uncomfortable to you for some reason. But I'm done quibbling with you over this.

He's gone, my cab is aired out, nothing left to discuss.

Been there myself. About 3 (?) Miles back toward I-55 from PnG on the right side is a little mom n pop hole-in-the-wall gas station/convenience store right next to a pizza joint. Says no parking on the east side of the store on the street, and you can't get a truck into the parking lot, but pull off just past the driveway and get a burger and a "ribbon fry" good stuff. Or stop by on your way out for some breakfast and coffee. It's pretty good food in there. That ribbon fry is cool...

    I think they're open 24 hrs.

Well, with Bumpy's Colorado Liquid Gold safely in the vault, I'll be off to pick up in Shakopee going to the Big House in AZ.

The same applies to Apache, by the way. The word "Apache" is a Zuni word roughly translated as "enemy." We identify by tribe: Mescalero, Mimbreno, White Mountain, Chiricahua, etc.
