i was recently let go from conway truckload. and before that i left werner enterprises. i lived in texas during employment with werner and for maybe a week while at conway. i now live in nv. where do i file unemployment? i heard it was based out of hq for the company but in this case it would be MO and NE.

I hope you have better luck than I have. My claim in NM was declined because they considered the reason I was terminated to be "misconduct" (how not locking a receiving dock door while present in the receiving area is considered misconduct is beyond me) and I'm still waiting to hear when my appeal will take place. The NM unemployement system is so backed up right now....

yea i ended up filing in nebraska. went really quick as far as setting up claim, thier requesting funds from mo and nv as well. will take 4-6 weeks for me to find out if im approved or not.

I am just "guessing",but I think it will be more difficult than usual ANYWHERE to collect unemployment benefits,because,well,EVERY state is broke.....

The states have to pay that, since the employer actually pays taxes specifically for unemployment.
