Gotta love us Drivers!
Bickering over inconsequential points having little to do with the original topic.

You're comment is a breath of fresh air. It is nice to read through a thread and find someone who is intelligent enough to understand the situation. I also appreciate that your articulate enough to communicate your logical observation. ( wish to see more individuals like this in the trucking industry) - Trucker Steve

If you have 23 years of experience, why USA truck? It's understandable for someone who is new and trying to get a start, but for someone with 23 years experience there is more to your story. Of course you will never admit it, to us or yourself. It will always be the employers fault. I've seen you in other threads and veteran drivers have said the same thing to you.
23 years? At USA we have Fleet Managers, not field managers. Also, with 23 years I'm certain you have been with other companies that use QC and they abbreviate as well, I know this from speaking to other drivers from other companies. As for the wrong information being conveyed to you, I'm certain this has happened, it happens sometimes. What I am also certain of is the fact that someone did not tell you "well, I don't know what to tell ya". Really??.....you expect resonable people to believe that a company sent you somewhere in a $75k rig, paid for the fuel, paid you, has a relationship with the client and responds to you that way when you advise dispatch that you have a wrong pick up number or address? Come on....
I rarely go to the terminals but when I do there are people (drivers) who are saying the same stuff your saying....98% of it over inflated. Your all quick to tell us who screwed you and why we should be "afraid" of the bad man. Yes, USIT and every other company has problems, but the responsibility is a two way street.
With 23 years it seems to me you would know the ins and outs of a company, or maybe that was 2-3 years?
Thomas0810 Thanks this. -
23 years? Are you sure? I'm really having my doubts.
-
Ahhh yes, a USA driver who does not makes excuses and does their job.....as I go through this thread I knew I would find one.
My FM tells me all the time "complain and you will be heard....LAST" That's not to say let someone walk over you or not voice an opinion.
(lets keep workin this thread till everyone is corrected)
-
really...are we 3?
-
NO, THATS NOT WHAT IT MEANS! Why type out all that stuff if you dont have to? If you need a clarification, call, send a QC message, send an email. And don't say that they don't answer or you still don't understand. If that's the response then you are culpable in the lack of communication.
I started brand new in this business and it took less than 7 days to figure out the QC. When I could not, I called. Calling? What a novel idea, verbally communicating for further clarification.
yes I'm starting to be a synic......the bull is making me nuts! -
Your soooo right! Besides, its a time saver. All these people that are complaining about the QC have other issues, certain of it. I would suspect they are no longer with USA.
Abbreviations on QC are common industry practice. After 23 years or 23 days, you should get it.Heirforce1 Thanks this.
