Pick up a t-call (that's not there) in Avenel. Deliver to Somerset. Rinse and repeat.:biggrin_2559:

You're tired. You could use a night at Avenell!:biggrin_25512:

Unloading in Springfield OH. DH to Cincy to hook a pre-load. Then to Memphis for DOT physical and log book ###-chewing followed by unload in Memphis. It's all good!

Log book ###-chewing....that means that you are at least using the thing....maybe you should call your new found friends for a "character" reference before chatting with the log department in Memphis!:biggrin_25525:

Maybe I should ask them to call Memphis and let them know what they think of Swift's training program with respect to log book procedure. To put it succinctly, they DO NOT like Swift!

The violation I was cited for (and paid for) was 100% of my own making though, not Swift's. I got off on 1 or 2 because the officers knew that I had been misinformed.

My biggest problem is that my 57 yo brain is having a hard time adjusting to HOS. My 57 yo brain knows STUPID when it sees it!!!! We need to get on with this next change in HOS so we can get ready for the next change in HOS.:biggrin_25525:

Could it be your 57 YO brain...just a couple weeks younger than mine is....is over thinking when it comes to logging?

With all the electronic tracking the companies and the Feds have....and the critical use that Swift and other companies use their technology for...anyone using a paper log must be absolutely certain they are logging "as they do it"...there just isn't "room for error" anymore. Scale times, fuel times, truck engine times, truck engine RPM's....is there anything they don't track anymore?!

Wouldn't surprise me if they knew the size shape and diameter of feces left behind! They can put those little cameras anywhere!

    JustSonny Thanks this.
