You mean she waited until you got bent over & signed a lease agreement?

Trainers don't sit in the bunk.

Trainer's also don't yell at their trainee's or make them cry.

So when are your training days gonna start?

It isn't her fault that the trainer is just as clueless as she is.

And most people aren't meant to be trainers

Then why was her trainer sitting in the bunk? Can't really train from back there.

    She wasn't!

    Swift? PRIME? Werner? or England?

Any truck that is fit for the highway, shouldn't move if the #### brakes are set.

I had a similar situation back in '99. Got the truck back to the yard after a very long couple of days. Dropped the trailer, and parked in bobtail parking. Fell into the sleeper for some much, much needed sleep. During my beauty sleep period, one of the mechanics decided to pull my truck into the shop for service without letting me know. So here I am, dead to the world asleep. And my truck starts hopping!! My first thought, after being shocked out of a sound sleep, was that some idiot was stealing my truck! So I shot out of my bunk, blade in hand! Fully prepared to do some slicing and dicing on whatever mental deficient thought it would be a hoot to rob this tired as all hell truck driver!

I still remember the look of pure fear on that poor mechanics face when he saw me. New rule around the yard after that day was that no one messed with my rig without visually confirming my prescence elsewhere. Preferably in another county.:biggrin_2559:

Ahh, the 1 year trainer, your not a real trucker BS... Fact is, We pull the Same freight, Drive the same roads, and pay for the Same diesel fuel.. I see PLENTY on "seasoned of you older super trucker vets do very stupid things - stupidity dosnt have an age or expierence level!.... Not really sure what your old MF'ers have against the younger generation out here but, Fact if I am a a trainer, And i do train well... And yes, I do work for Werner as an OO and your free to your own opinion about it, and i may not make as much as alot of other OO out there, but im comftorable, and not im not crying... and fact is, as long as i can make a comftorable wage doing this.... i Will pull ""cheap freight" !.... Im not against busting ### like ALOT of you OLD Owner operators are.... Im not looking to get rich.... And back to the training thing.... Why the Heck do i need to be sitting in the jump seat whiel shes driving down I135 5 hrs into her shift?? whats to train there? light traffic, bright sunny day.... tell me, what instruction needs to be told? I also want to say that i posted this in the Heat of the moment and when i said i yelled at her i yelled for her to push in the yellow valve and stop... read what i said, i didnt flip out on her, thats why i said i hadent talked to her since i stopped.... I think most you you ppl on here just try to say you know better than everyone else and try to look like true master of your craft to whoever reads what you post.... Cmon old guys open up a can of whoop ### on me, i know i kno... im gunna get get the typical he dont know what hes talkin about, and blah blah ... now go take your vitamins and blood pressure pills you Senior know it alls!

OOOOOoooo...somebody sounds a bit peeved to hear from the voices of experience.

Confuscious say "There are old truck drivers, and there are bold truck drivers. But there are no old, bold truck drivers!"
