Yes, I was under the impression it was either/or. On one hand that makes sense to be able to take the difference, but since they only pay you for days you are running, then you should be able to claim the days you are sitting away from home? We never got any copies of his pay stubs, that Planet Knight site to get your pay stubs is a freakin joke. Nice way of them to get out of that. I think I am more annoyed with them now than when he was working for them... k, I'm over it..for now.
OK, name the good things about Knight.

But I'd sure stay a long ways away from folks like H & R Block or Liberty. You need someone who is a full time tax person, preferably a CPA. -
Well?
Anyone else have something nice to say? -
I have yet to find a better "company" driving job out here in the west. All things considered. I wouldnt work for Knight out east for nothing though.
-
I always liked unloading at 0800 and reloading at 2000, a load that was supposed to be picked at 0900. Also asking 4 times for a PO for extra stop pay was fun...as were the weekly follow up calls to payroll. Then there was always the many times I would arrive to pick up my load home only to find it was swiped by another terminal. I thought my terminal was run by idiots but as it turns out it was the whole company. Whodathunkit!

Well if you cant manage your time with the DM, whos fault is that?
I've never had a problem. Who do you drive for now? -
The time you spend on here should be spent scrutinizing your load notes and calling payroll to get your money. Good luck! -
CSA is going to be the vehicle in which eliminates the O/O. Its just that simple.
That fight is over, I now just want to get paid.
also with knight thanksfully I have a really good DM, I get paid for the work I do, never had a problem. But thats just me, I see driver leaving all the time. I also see drivers being hired all the time. But we got freight, and I have yet to sit anywhere for any length of time. -
LOL CSA?
Kevin KNIGHT backed CSA2010 to the hilt! -
Instead of getting in a whizzing match about how much better 8,759 other trucking companies are than Knight, I'll just say fair enough.
To expand on what you said about the east coast..my terminal manager thought the drivers pay was a piggy bank. The more they save for Knight the more the terminal manager makes. Drivers were hired for the soul purpose of stealing from them for the month they were employed with Knight.
Glad I got out of that place!
