Good night from...

Spent last night in a mom and pop type joint in Marysville WA and had a Yak Attack Cheeseburger. I've already had Ostrich and Buffalo burgers so thought I would try the Yak.

I was still burning Willows CA fuel and really wanted some of that $3.28 fuel in Troutdale OR but it was 220 miles and a little less than 1/4 tank-- thought I might have to put 10 gallons in at Tumwater to make it, but nope, made it in fine shape at 55 mph and 8.3 mpg.

Petro southern OR now, JCT just crunched Squire trying to back in then ran off with his tail between his legs, another driver got his trailer number-- think this guy's number is up now.

In other news, does not Annual mean once a year? Had to do another Annual DOT inspection on my truck-- just did it like 3 months ago lol.

 

baker, ca. this load was running late when i got it, but i still had to convince myself i couldn't make up time. mac 22 in the morning. i am bushed.

 

Van Horn Tx. It has been so hot and dry around here that all the grass, what little there is, is brown. I was surprised to see how green it was just outside of El Paso south of the interstate, it really looked lush. On my way back to Lancaster for overdue B-service and also overdue home time.

 

I'll be in Lancaster tomorrow, dropping off a trailer relo, then picking up a t-call heading to Plainview ... spending tonight at the T/A in New Bruensfel.

 

Sounds like it's a California BIT inspection. Done every 90 days.
