Oh my God Im speechless, please accept condolences.Shes in a better place now lets not forget that.I read thru all the posts and i think what really happened nobody touched on.It was a distraction a 2-3 second distraction that cost her her life. The driver that got passed said he radioed on the cb she was clear i think her mic fell to the floor and she fumbled to pick it up taking her eyes off the road combine that with poor visibility from the heavy rain and you have a deadly combination.I wrecked my car in 1999 because of a distraction and i know what i did wrong and i nearly died.Everybody that reads this post learn from mistakes like this.
KinardTrucking and zebcohobo Thank this. -
I was in the traffic that day. As I finally passed by they had just pulled the truck up over the embankment. Needless to say it sent shivers down my spine when I saw it. Never want to see that ever. Condolences to her family and may she RIP.

Thank you everyone! Kimee is now in her final resting place here on earth. The funeral was very special. The service ended with "A Trucker's Prayer."
As I mentioned before, she was transported to the cemetery in one of our trucks (wish I had pictures for you, but I was too focused on other things that day to operate a camera).
When she was finally placed over her gravesite we gave her two long blasts of air horn (I'm quite sure she heard them).
Again, thank you.

I just found this website via the internet.
I am going to be posting 7 posts right now just to reach the point that I can sent private messages.
I am Kimmie's brother-in-law.
Like I stated in my previous post, I need to get to 7 posts.
Sorry for the repetitiveness, but I need to contact a poster privately via this site.
Kimmie was a very safe driver.
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
If you knew Kimmie, you have to agree that she was a very upbeat person.
Kimmie was very proud of her job.
Thank you for being patient.

I am 100% convinced that vehicle condition was absolutely not an issue.
I am speaking from experience and knowledge of the situation first hand.
I have been the spokesperson with Kinard Trucking, the Pennsylvania State Trooper who investigated the accident and the Lebanon COunty Coroner.KinardTrucking Thanks this. -
I'm sorry I missed this thread. It is just tragic.
My condolenses to the Joanne family, Pollock and Kinard Trucking.
She was an avid bowler. I know I would of liked her. The funeral sounded very nice.
Rest in peace Kimee! I'm sure many will miss you.
fulgrwnmn, you're something else. If 50 is a safe speed and you approach someone doing 40. Then yes it's okay to pass. Especially in the hills they were driving in. Until you learn how to drive, you don't need to be throwing your expert opinion out there. Not the time or place.KinardTrucking Thanks this. -
Condo Cruiser,
Thank you.
The correct name was Kimberlee Joanne Cox.
One of the newspaper obituaries had it wrong.
The funeral was special, especially when we place her coffin down and the Air Horns blasted.
Knowing Kimmie as I did, she was looking down with that grin that she had and said, "Look at me now."
I agree with your bottom comment to fulgrwnmn, I sent him a private message. I hope he reads it thoroughly.
Thanks for caring and sharing.KinardTrucking Thanks this. -
So sorry for your companies loss and to her beloved family.. No one knows what happened. All I can say is that it was just probably her time.. They say when it is your time you will go no questions asked.. To bad she had to go in such a awful way..
KinardTrucking Thanks this.
