    I found this company to be absolutely useless when it comes to making money.
    First off the 8 weeks training period has so far turned into 4 months and the insurance they have sucks,and dont believe for a minute that Crap "you'll be home every weekend",YOU WONT!The trainers need retraining themselves considering I spent 20+ hours behind the wheel in one sitting and had to help this sorry S.O.B. pay for toll's he couldn't afford just to get us home driving on my time and the trainers,which is "NOT" supposed to happen,and to top it off they told me after my training was over they didn't have any trucks available and to keep riding with my trainer at $450.00 a week until something comes available,WTF!:biggrin_25516:

    First of all,that trainer should be paying the tolls not you.

    Secondly, no one made you drive 20+ hrs, that was your decision to do that. No one forced you to break the law.

    i agree i have been driving for only a year and i still couldnt drive 20+ hours straight.

    20 hours? & no money for tolls? Sounds suspect all the way around. My dad told me that if you look in an OTR company truck & it dosen't have a EZ Pass, M-Tag, IPASS, & a Smart-Tag toll glued to the winshield turn and run.

    Although I agree with that 100%, there's many companies that don't have prepass, ezpass, and all of that. They expect the driver to pay the cash up front and then get reimbursed. That's called a 0% loan and truck drivers are the only people that are expected to do that.

    The better companies will reimburse in a timely manner. The shady ones will "lose" the receipts.

    and then you have the drivers that abuse the system. Calling the company and getting an advance for tolls and such and then blowing it on arcade games and hookers. Then they are calling the company and crying that their broke and my wallet was stolen. :biggrin_25513:

    No B.S. Big John,I was told if I wanted to get home I better drive it cause he wasn't and I know better,yeah,but I also had plans and was promised we would be home by weekend....there's more to the story than I'm letting on right now...BTW I'm no newbie to truckin,just a newbe to this company...I wish I would've stayed where I was at to begin with....Dont worry though I'll start name droppin as soon as I get back there...I hope this B.S. company see's this,the trainers there,not all,just a few are absolutely useless in training someone,they just want someone to do their work for them and use them for their money to pay tolls and they don't teach #### about the paper work involved so they can keep you past the training time,there are 3 I know of that are being done like this right now and people are quiting everyweek because of it.......they just use you as slave labor to help the current drivers that are not worth a #### and lazy as ####!
