2200 is good when i have been averaging 1700 a week since going regional the second week of July. Its the first time i have gotten 2000+ mile weeks consecutively since going regional also.Last month my net income was down $700.00 from what i averaged a month from February to the middle of July.It does not take long for that to start affecting your bills and how they get paid but i remain patient.

I drive barely 700 miles/week and still make more money then at USA
. Also home everyday.

Thomas from around the first of July till the day I was fired with 2 exceptions I did not make enough money to pay my bills AND have the privilege of eating. It became impossible for me to make enough miles with being in the shop at least 2 days out of 7. As you know I was 7 months into my contract for 1 year. I was doing my best to hang on till I could quit. However there is something about being hungry and hot for days on end that will make you snap. I had a crappy payday 2 weeks ago, I could not help but laugh though when I thought about how this crappy week was still better then my average week at USA. Thomas I wish you along with all the other drivers there all the best, and for your sakes I do hope USA can get it's problems fixed.

it will get better always does, this is my second time to work for them and always have made plenty of money working for them its just short term and i love being home on the weekends

It may be good for USA, but USA basically wasn't good for me. FM's sucked. Sitting for 3 days and FM forgets why really sucks. Paychecks were decent, but not consistent enough to depend on. I can actually not worry now, when I had anslow week just last week it was still the same as my best week @ USA

Well I guess since you started this thread and are now working elsewhere this is pretty much tapped out as a USA Truck thread. Best of luck to you my friend. I hope that you have found a happy home and that your paychecks are HUGE because I may need to borrow some money soon. Thank you for starting this thread.

Wow, after a full year I feel like a senior driver. Have not seen much of the drivers that posted here from USA when I first started.
-
I'm assuming I was around when you first started... I quit though. Moved onto a much better setup
-
They did give you that nice truck to take to w Memphis and get fixed then back to OH for a new driver
-
They also gave me a preloaded (brand new) trailer to pickup as well
. That truck they gave me still had problems when I left West Memphis haha! The steering shook like hell at highway speeds sometimes.
I was going to write on the windshield (dry erase marker) of all the problems I found with it, but didn't because I wanted to get the hell out of Vandalia and start my (permanent) vacation!
