Streetrods don't worry about it. Look at it this way. You'll be rolling when the flatbedder is sitting for a couple of days waiting for a load.

I doubt there are many since you have to be 21 to cross state lines.:biggrin_25523:

No there isn't. Like spax you have to be at least 21 to cross statelines in a T/T and most companies require you be at least 23.

When I'm up in Washington I load for a customer of ours back in Omaha that likes a wide temp range of products: apples @ 34 taters @ 45 & to top it off onions @ 60. The ol' Carrier gets a real workout trying to compensate for the heat the spuds and onions are throwing off while trying to keep the apples in the nose happy. But luckily when I throw the doors open to unload they pulp everything and all is well. I've raised the issue to our load planner but he says the customer orders it and tells us what temp to run it at so we're covered. Regardless, I still watch everything like a hawk cuz if for some odd reason something goes haywire I'm the one at the proverbial hill the poop flows down. I don't really mind doing LTL & it helps to know the shippers too. Sometimes if I have some fudge room and they're close I'll go out of order doing the picks so the weight is balanced. It's a bumpy ride with all the weight on the tail.

Well crap. Just had a whole pallet of blackberries fall over backwards. Wiped out both my load locks. Wonder now, if 3 locks would've held the load? 1st time this has happened to me. Needless to say, very unhappy!!!!
