I have done fairly well here, as long as I stay out of the northeast, that area can be a black hole. I have made around 130,000 miles the past 2 years, can't complain. Some weeks are 22-2300, some are 32-3300, but average around 26-2700 miles as a rule. Not going to complain about that.:biggrin_255:

Excellent responses. I've only been with Crete about 6 weeks, but I have yet to run the NE. I'm sure I will...no problem...just don't want to live up there like I was so often with Schneider (I live in SC).

Having a challenge finding local I was considering the home weekly regional with Crete.

When OTR I can't see doing 21 days when you have a home.

You might look into Cardinal Logistics. They are everywhere. Pretty much they supply trucks and drivers to dedicated customers and it's all local work.

    Rug_Trucker Thanks this.

Certainly. They do a lot of Home Depot, Chep, and Rubbermaid. Never really gave them a second thought until I ordered some lumber from Home Depot for a garage and started talking to the driver who delivered it. I did a search here on TR and found a few threads about them.

Me and OTR are finished. Just kicking back and looking around at a few different options. Good luck in your search RT.

My trainer from Swift talked to a Cretey and said every year he gets a raise, his miles go down and so does his $. Not uncommon to here other companies doing the same JB, and Watkins for examples.

I completely agree with everything in the original post. I drive the blue side and have been for 8 months. My savings are now gone, if u don't drive u don't get paid period. I average 800 to 1200 miles a week for a grand take home pay of about 380$ per week. So beware of this company. Just sayin....
