Will very possibly be dragging a 16' Gooseneck on Friday. Dispatch says I'll stay busier and get payed better for heavy.

Wish PAM had seen things that way!

The "Cabbage Patch" is the hill on I84 just east of Pendleton, OR. Beautiful vista, but a challenge on a good day. Not as bad as it used to be, but add a little Mother nature and it will pucker anyone. Got out about 1045 when they lifted chain req's. Now sitting in snowville at the J. Fueled and pulled straight in to the last open spot. :biggrin_25522:

I was behind the fuel islands but I was only there for an hour. Picked up load, went there to get lunch and then I had to go.

    I'm in Salina KS tonight.
I saw a sign today that read "We apologize but you're now entering Kansas".
Best part of running Kansas at night: you can't see how boring it really is.

I was thinkin more along the lines of "Apocalypse Now" the words from Marlon Brando right before he was sent to the next life by Martin Sheen.Old movie, but what the hell,I'm an old guy.

I'm 17mi SW of Sleepy Eye,(really a town)Mn.,glad I finally got most of the welding done I had to do on some equipment I busted up last fall..Lesson here is,its much easier to break stuff;than it is to fix it.:biggrin_2556:
