Home with an insane "Honey-do" list since the new Grand Daughter will be visiting tomorrow!

Did some new muscles grow in the last few years....cause they sure do a lot of screaming recently!

Back home, after delivering my last load of the week to the co-op 1/4 mile away from my house. It took 2 hrs to dump. They have a real small box, 4' x 3' with a small auger I had to dump into. I could only trickle the load of DAP (fertilizer) out of my grain door. That was after taking 3 hrs to unload and load at Port-33 in Catoosa, OK yesterday.

 

Pioneer, TN at the Pilot. Fought my way down a 13-mile backup down 75 just north of here, where there is only one lane open southbound due to the road giving way a few weeks back.

Got a kick out of one woman in a Toyota Highlander. She's making getures, and even laying on her horn, pissed at the four-wheeler blocking the right lane, a la truckers. I got so sick of her noise I finally yelled out the window at her "You can't blame US for this one!".

I don't know where the hell she thought she was going anyway....

I have been unusually HAPPY all day..I unusually drove to Nebraska 45mph.. And AS usual,when I left this morning I raided the kitchen for 1st day goodies..Ohoh..I think I may have grabbed some POT BROWNIES.. Still have 5 left. Aw what the hell,watchin Truckin peeps at the T.S. will be especially entertaining tonight..Hey,hey,don't "Bogart" that brownie..(SOB)

 

Denver, CO. Truck broke down out outside Limon so it got towed (truck and trailer) to Denver. Dropped trailer in a secured lot. Towed truck to International in Aurora. I'm at a hotel..company paid for.

Just met up with my friend and her husband. We went out to a fancy shmancy restaurant that Ted Turner owns where I had bison meatloaf. Tomorrow I think my friend is meeting up with me and we're going to get our nails done.

 

This morning the meeting was mostly BS. Then sat around for WAY too long. Got a dispatch to pick up at SDV and deliver with a 5pm cut off. By the time I actually got to that delivery I had already made 4 others and had two more to go back for.

Also had one rejected for packaging.

Didn't get trailer today. Probably get it Monday. Looks used, but solid.

 

Greencastle PA TA. Contemplating getting a 34hr reset here or moseying on to Manchester NH tomorrow and getting one there. Don't deliver in Londonderry NH until Monday not later than 1400.

Anybody familiar with the Super 8 in Manchester? I might take a night or two out of the truck there.
