It's a nit .. takes about 1.2 second to type something in and hit send ... don't worry about spelling, if at least 2 out of the 4 letters are close ... as far as doing it in traffic ... going to stop and goal anyway, especially if there is traffic around. .. Hell I pulled the plug in the middle of the street as I was turning into a T/S, because I lost site of dog that was running back to my tandems.

Well, I can't hit 'messaging', 'compose', 'freeform, 'keyboard', type 'goal', 'x', 'send', 'ok'

    in 1.2 seconds.

Pilots holding ATP's (Airline Transport Pilot) ratings are required to take a physical every 6 months. Can't speak of any non flying matters while operating below 10,000 feet and always have a 2nd pilot along side them. With radar and their carriers following their every movements I would say pilots are monitored more then Truck Drivers are.

By way of some trivia if you ever go flying on an airline watch for those 3 soft chimes every airline and aircraft does it. This means the aircraft just passed 10,000 feet and the flight attendants can begin the in flight service.

Not sure why they don't just make a simple mac for goal like Mac 0 sends a goal..

Do it when you're bored, or after you do your back. Who will know the difference?

You have to be very careful what you send on that qualcomm. Sometimes better to just delete the message and not react to those harassful, negative, snideful messages coming from unprofessional middle (wo)men. One day I was turning down stupid load after stupid load (heavy on the empty miles, near impossible delivery times etc) and they sent a message, 'are you even going to run today?' How bout the one I turned down because the live unload process was delayed (unknown PTA) when their forklift broke down, but they borrowed one from next door and I sent my empty call in 15 minutes later got a message, 'funny how you're available now all of a sudden?' Pretty much don't engage these people. Just remember they make less money than you do and are jealous lol
