Aside from taking ten minutes to straight-line back into the dock here at my last customer of the day, something he did just made me have to post about him.

Obviously, he's a new(er) driver. Well, I guess all this time against the dock got to him and he decided he was going to clean the windshield. By hand with windex and a rag. Now, that's not bizarre.

He has a newer Freightliner. He stands on the driver side step, grabs a hold of the mirror, puts one foot up on the hood where it's contoured along the tire, and then puts his other foot on the mirror, and then swings himself up. Then once he's up on the hood, he's just walking all over it, cleaning the windshield. Then the fun part was watching him figure out his way off the hood. Luckily, he used the mirror to catch his momentum as he swung off the hood to jump to the ground.

Genius. Pure genius. I guess if you don't own it, mirrors and hoods are cheap.

At Prime, You break it you buy it, company or lease.

:biggrin_2559: Poor guy might learn that the hard way.

I would've if I could. Tried a photo with my phone but was too far away. I was parked in the staging area across from him with my trailer facing his dock. Once he was done I got his door. So I was watching this all through my mirror about 150-200 feet away.

If Prime really does have a "you break it, you bought it" rule, he better be told that hoods are fiberglass. That's what really made me take notice. He wasn't a big guy, but he wasn't scrawny, either. I could just imagine that fiberglass flexing and cracking as he walked around on it.
