And to all those complainers, try parking next to a guy that has the 'flapper' covers on his stacks and idles all night!!

Sorry Pumpkin, but maintain temperature does not mean to run the unit constantly. If the commodity does not require constant air flow, there is no reason not to use start/stop. Perhaps in a few more years you will have enough experience to learn that fact.

If I don't like looking at the driver face whose parked next to me and I tell him to park somewhere else and he doesn't then im assuming he has a "Me First" mentality too? I hate smoking and being around it too. If I were at a truck stop where they allowed smoking and drivers were smoking and I stood up and said "I don't like smoking could you all put out your cigarettes?" you really think their going to accomodate me? No I highly doubt it. If refusing to put myself out to accomodate someone else makes me have a "me first" mentality that perfectly fine. My purpose on earth isn't to please anyone else but myself. And if my paperwork say start stop and that's what the customers wants that's how it's staying. It doesn't bother me either way and I can sleep with either. There's alot of things I don't like but if i'm not going to do something about it the no need of boo hooing about it. Suck it up and move on that's life!

Reefer sounds put me to sleep, moved to the refrigerated section.

How would I get my Ben and Jerry's without reefers?

LOL not sure about what flavors, I go to 7-11 and pick out whatever is on the shelf. They had a mint choco chip or something like that one time. Could not eat more than a little but man it was good.

I have questioned it at Shippers, and of drivers with more experience than you. Cycle Sentry does not MAINTAIN a steady temperature but keeps the temp in a 7-10 degree range. Maintain means to keep up; carry on; to keep in an existing state. So Yes, to maintain a temp of 34 deg, 50 deg, whatever, you would need to set your reefer to continuous!!

Almost a whole week without a thread complaining about reefers.

Look, if you have a problem with reefers go somewhere else.
