Dave is home as of 19:45. Ran a total of 12 today. And it felt sorta like Friday.

And I ain't too dang far away from hitting the sheets!

 

Caddo Mills, TX. First off, thank you to whomever opened up a parking spot. I was running low on hours and this spot was right near the front of the Pilot. For 10:30 at night, I cannot thank you enough for that.
Secondly, considering I started in Encinal TX, back down to Laredo to get 1 pallet taken off because I was over gross and then up here to Caddo Mills..I think I did fairly well considering all the traffic I hit today. Ugh! I wanted to stop in Carl's Corner but I knew that meant Dallas rush hour in the morning so I had to get through Dallas before shutting down tonight.

 

I liked Karl's Korner when it was Karl's. At least PEElot didn't get hold of it.

TA, Santa Nella CA. Bad accident on I5 last night... 4-wheeler flipped on its top. Had the southbound side completely shut down through central LA.

 

just left santa nella....day b4 yest....spent some of mon and some of tues there.....


but NOW we are in TX, headed to the LA Quinta on the RIVER...woooohooooo

Truck out of service AGAIN, no one put the bolts for the coolant tank on tight enough, maybe 3 miles from my pick up and the dang thing falls off...

I am not a happy camper. Cincinnati terminal waiting for the 2 trucks in to get out, just finished chewing out the guy that did it.

 

Man....sounds like some of my luck last month, which thankfully (for now) has gone to the good side of the ledger. Here's hoping yours does as well!
