Why should we have to? Thats how we find out traffic reports and what not. People should just learn to grow th #### up.

I agres but they pay their dues to be a duesch on the radio. Besides plenty of truckers tell them too, to stop being stupid. But 4 wheelers show no respect on the road or in our offices, metaporically speaking.they just buy a cb install ot and use it to kill time when driving. Its not a toy, its a tool.

Unfortunately, it is a tool that too many Tools are playing with. They should go back to playing with their own tools. . .:biggrin_25511:

Like i said i dont mind people acting stupid on the radio for s.h.i.t.s and giggles however, they came out with these new cbs i dont even know why, where you can program a noise in there when you key up so you have jerks keying up constantly so no one can here a #### thing. And there is this one guy who gets on there and sounds stupid as hell saying, " shut up you stupid dirty truckers this in no longer channel 19 but channel 34" hes an idiot. I bet you he dont key that s.h.i.t up when near a truck cause i'd f.u.k. with him a little.. lmao

Bingo rockee you hit the nail on the head. Has anyone ever noticed if you ignore the dumb azzs 7 times out of 10 they will just quit effing around, it's not any fun for them if they dont have a audience. And I agree that its not just 4 wheelers, truckers do it just as much if not more. Ever notice how noisy the cb gets around truckstops? that probably isnt only 4 wheelers making noise, except for the drug dealers, bootleg dvd tapes sellers and working girls. rim polishers and knob polishers.

You can't control other peoples behavior, only your own..... If it bugs you turn it off and in a few miles you can turn it back on, and most likely they will be gone. Your life is too short to stress out over words, pay attention to actions, you feel better. And live longer

I don't have a CB radio and don't really have a use for one since I'm not in a job that requires me to drive almost 100% of the time. I did date a guy who had a CB radio in his 4-wheeler (back in the early 90's) but not sure if he counts or not since he was an ex-truck driver and really only used the radio to chat on long drives or give warnings about traffic issues or police presence. I haven't known any other individuals who are exclusively 4-wheel drivers that own and use a CB radio personally.

With that being said, some people are going to act like idiots and interfere with others' jobs--in your case, the playing around on the radio. The advice you have received is good--turn it down for a bit and focus on something else, and don't feed into their game by giving them a reaction since this will just encourage them. Try not to let it stress you out too badly or get angry over it because it isn't really worth it.
