Good week, bad week is the name of the game. Save up for times like these. It's industry wide.

It's about that time of the year when Bonehead Cliff tells everyone the next few weeks will be mild.

Not too bad so far took a load home for Christmas that delivered in Dallas on wednesday at 730 and after my two preplans I'll be at 2300 on Sunday. Bunch of short runs but they add up. Better than being up north in the weather. I came from green bay right before the holidays.

Run like a scalded ape since coming off home time. Houston, TX to Valdosta, GA last night. Then Valdosta, GA to Roanoke today. Tomorrow up to Mechanicsburg, PA to drop and then I have 2 round trip preplans both between Dunkirk, NY and Mechanicsburg, PA. Sick as a dog with the flu. Crabby, whiny, and lazy. Don't want to go to the Northeast, don't want to see snow right now. Good miles though I suppose.

    PS
If I tell you 3 times in a row that I'm feverish with the flu and I don't feel like talking, I just want to get in my truck and lay down, and you STILL follow me to my door and keep blabbing.....you might be a r e t a r d!

Told my travel agent before Christmas I was staying home until the 2nd since there was going to be no work anyway. He told me I didn't know what I was talking about.. Folks, if you don't know by now, this time of the year is always slow and it won't pick up until the end of January. Sit back, relax, enjoy the break from the big rush and don't get like the driver who laid his truck down over the westbound lanes of I-70 in Ohio last night. Praying he's alright and unhappy he messed up another trailer. We have so few to choose from.
