I wonder if JBS stands for
Jonly Bonly Steward? Bwhaahahahahahahahaha -
There is a JBS specific forum. Think you would get a quicker response there.

I been with JBS for almost 3 years now. 95% of the time you won't touch nothing, but sometimes when you get to a mom and pop place you might have to tail gate it with their pallet jack. Or take a few boxes off and put them on a pallet. Nothing too hard but we are a meat based company and the boxes could weigh 70 or so pounds.

What kind of miles do you run, pay is mileage? Do you keep busy......

I get about 2500 a week plus or minus mostly plus. .40cpm for people with over 5 years experience. E logs, 65mph truck and they test for sleep apnea if you fall in the test range of over 35 bmi, and 17 inch neck. 29 dollar a week health insurance. Blue cross blue shield. Here is my thread and some of my weeks. You can decide if I stay busy or not.

If you are big you will get a 6 month physical card and in that 6 months you will have to have a sleep study done to show you don't have sleep apnea. Now that's what they did a few years ago. Not sure if they are still doing that. But if you fall in the category that's what they do to most people. You will have to call a recruiter to see if that is still policy. I do see big people who work here but guess they passed everything. They also do a thingy where they do more test then the normal physical. Have you lift weights take your blood pressure, stretch, all kinds of crazy stuff. Oh think its called Ergonomics. Sleep studies are expensive but if they do give you the 6 month or less medical card you would be able to use insurance to pay for it, but still heard there's some out of pocket money for deductible or something.

Kind of ironic that that pos safety director at jbs would never pass a sleep apnea test himself. Anybody ever seen him eat. Its not pretty. Like a hog
CondoCruiser Thanks this. -
I never heard of a company having the ability to control the length of your medical card just because of your weight. They ain't doctors. That's not one of the things that get you a reduced card. If your BP/sugar is normal they can't speculate. If they want to test, fail, treat, reduce card they can but not reduce card, test, fail, treat.
