Dog tracking and bent dot bars are a sign of not making turns correctly, hitting curbs and putting tires in the ditch dragging the dot bars on the ground. Big problem in a training company. Sure wish we'd get a better caliber of students to train. I can teach em, but I can't force them to listen once they get off my truck.

You know in 3 years with USA I never experience a winter slow down. Lol maybe this was because I never experienced a summer surge to compare it to.

I was set to come off home time yesterday in Van Buren in a new fleet (4th in past 6 months), but there are no loads. New FM says loads on the board, if they can get them released. I'm ready for the work to pick up. This is going to be a very short week.

Almost every carrier has trailers that dog leg. The stuff you mention is correct but honestly most are caused by idiots in switch truck/yard dogs making 180 turns way too fast. I saw a yard driver at a walmart DC actually turn a loaded one so steep and fast he rolled a tire off the wheel.

The trailer only dog legs when you don't take the time to make sure your truck and trailer are completely straight while hooking to a loaded trailer.
