:biggrin_25513:As far as Baylor went, I did go to work for them and at first I was doing well. Then they put me in a truck with electronic logs, gave me 2 weeks to figure it out. I got nothing but a printed sheet to tell me how to use it. So i was using computer logs for 2 weeks and also doing paper when they took me off paper, would have been ok except dispatch was running me like they always did. There was no way i could have run legal and because i was running so tight on hrs. i got 3 days off for not being legal. A month later i had a choice, be legal or run over hrs. so i chose to run legal and got fired for 1 late delivery to they're #1 custermer, 15 min. so they fired me.

you can do better than go to baylor especially if you are going to "lease' a truck from them from what i have heard even after you pay the truck off if you decide to go eleswhere they will not let you take the truck with you ................my wife used to work for them till her dm copped a attitude at Christmas by liying to her about gettin home so we are now o/o for a different co

I am interested in any info anyone may have on Baylor Trucking. I am trying to decide which company to start my trucking career with. Thinking of Burris Logistics, Baylor, US Express,Crete, Heartland Express, Central Refridge, Schneider. Prefer to run dry van. Maybe TMC if I go Flatbed.

Of those companies, Schneider and Burris were your best bet. USX sucks, Heartless sucks, Central (Swift) Refrigerated sucks and TMC sucks.

What sucks about Heartland? I know their mileage is lower than others, but they pay pretty well, don't they?

As for Baylor, things look pretty good there. Any current Baylor drivers care to comment on how things are going for them?
