Teaming question

Yeah I guess blondie noticed me looking and glared at me after they broker their embrace. I've seen gay couples do this type of extreme PDA before. I tend to believe its just a pseudo-exhibition to make a statement. Assumption on their part that everybody is a bunch of homophobic bigots and this is a way of saying "in your face!"

 

Hello everyone, new on the forum here, hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year. I've got over 6 months experience OTR and was looking into U.S.A. team driving. Does anyone know whether they will pair you with a team member and if so, will they allow you to request certain preferences for a team-mate? i.e. non-smoking or even religious prreference. Also I haven't been OTR since October of 2010, so will they reguire me to go through the full training? Thank you.

 

I would research other companies for teaming. USA is not a company to go to for team driving. They'll dispatch a team truck 300 miles on something not due for days. Schneider used to be good for teaming, but they don't have APU's. Team trucks shouldn't really need them though. Schneider knows how to team dispatch. I used to team for them. Truck never stops. Teams get the best trucks too.

 

Thank you Klatu and others for your response/advice. I will continue searching around other companies, but may talk to a few other U.S.A. drivers here and at truck stops maybe, take care. By the way are you still team driving Klatu?

 

No, I don't team now. When i teamed with Schneider, it was back in 2000. There was alot more work. I wouldn't team with USA though.
