Still at the house I should have moved out of two days ago. Only now, it doesn't have heat for some reason.....and today, the mortgage company wants three MORE forms and verification pieces of crapola.

This is the reason the housing market is bad. Not because there are not qualified people to buy, but because of the government BS attached to it all. The cold house just adds to the overall frustration and feelings of helplessness.

It's one of those days when I just give the hell up.

 

...but I can't, because the heat just came back on. Go figure.

All I did was follow my mantra on fixing stuff: "When in doubt, reset the breaker. Or hit it with a really big hammer."

Wish I could do that with the mortgage company....

As do I. In the end, the mortgage company may not get our piddling little business. We have been offered, but have been extremely hesitant to accept, a personal loan from family. This last absurd request this afternoon may just prompt me to take it, if for no other reason then to spare my wife more frustration and anxiety.

 

oh wow...whoever said buying a house is fun...is nuts....there isnt anything fun about it...well i hope y'all get it worked out no matter how you guys decide to handle it. i know it can be very stressful
