Lolli-gagging around with delivery in Modesto, then p/u across the street going to Victorville. One small problem....CA 58 over Tahachapi is closed (snow/ice) as well as Grapevine I-5:biggrin_2559:

I had left Harlan and was going south to VA. The day before, when I was going to Harlan, took that US119... another curvy narrow road going up and down...

Sometimes I wonder if it is "guts" or something else... :biggrin_25526: At one point, going down and coming close to a very sharp curve, I saw some vehicles coming in my direction and I had to slow down to 15 mph and moved my hands as asking them to slow down and wait until I had passed the curve cause truck needed the whole road... my bumper was near the rocky wall and the tail of the trailer on the opposite lane... :biggrin_2556: And I had my locking pin on the 5th whole from the front...

Hey man! Hope you are getting better and doing well... Yes, the scenery was beautiful... I missed a few opportunities to take nice pictures... This road didn't even have speed limit signs... not kidding... and neither had the GPS. I think if I had encountered another truck coming in the opposite direction in a curve on that road, I would have to stop and wait for them to pass.... This is, if we could see each other in time... But thank God it was not necessary... Yes... that region, OR, ID... is pretty pretty... But fun trucking?... For me, I don't like to have to shift all the time... specially because all the Freightliners in this company are kinda weak going up...
