That's highly irritating when there are 10 open urinals and some knucklehead scampers into the toilet and whizzes all over the seat. Children do it, but adult men?? Come on people, think of others how bout it.

I pull tanker . Haven't seen one of those signs in a truckstop yet. The night runners , day sleepers must be covering them up.

Just some quick FACTS...Idling diesel engines produce 96/98 decibels on average and the reefers well in excess of those dB. It doesn't help that diesel's tend to produce low frequency sound - making it difficult to muffle. Lack of maintenance only increases these numbers. Exposure to constant noise @ 80-85dB causes hearing loss and anything >50 affects sleep. I think the drivers requesting quiet have a valid point. But courtesy and common sense could certainly go a long way in solving this dilemma.

I think drivers complaining about the noise should start a collection to pay for a quiet section.
