so we can still park there? One of the main reasons i picked USA is because , when i started the whole process, it still listed the phoenix terminal. Thats where my kids are, and i was gonna do my time off there , so i can visit them.
Well, we can park in ABF yards though..right? and they have one in phoenix. So that would be an option, wouldnt it?

You can park your truck/trailer in certain ABF yards. Don't know any you can spend the night in. Ther are a lot of side roads in the phoenix area you can park on. Couple big truck stops also. The terminal in phoenix sucked anyway. Glad its gone. Couldn't get anything fixed right there.. but when I think about it that seems to be the same story at all the shops lately. Wish I could be more positive, but I gotta be truthful..

ahh ok.
yeah i dont think usa truck will want me parking the truck for 3-4 days in a truck stop, un-occupied. :/
This all really blows. -
Is South Holland still the best terminal to get repairs done right?
-
You stand a better chance at getting then done correctly at Carlisle than any place else.
-
Its still the best terminal to get the inside of your truck totally wrecked. They even move your floor mats out of the way and track ##### all over the floor so you have to spend two hours cleaning it all up after they are finnished working on the problem that they usually didn't fix in the first place. My last three services out of that terminal resulted in immediate breakdowns on the road due to clogged oil filters that apparently wasnt replaced at the time of the oil change. It seems to me that they are more concerned with getting trucks in and out of the system as quickley as possible just to make themselves look like are being really productive and impress VB. When they call you and tell you that your truck is ready dont forget to bring a bucket of water and soup.

Yea. They couldn't fix my qualcom either. It ended up being the dome on top. They were to tight to replace it. I went months with a qualcom that would just freeze up for hours.

The best service I ever had was second shift in Vandalia. If you had a problem you couldn't quite find, Brian on second shift was usually the best. Even the guys on first shift would tell you to wait and get Brian to look at it. Plus the attitudes and the way you are treated was always better on second shift. As far as parts/service counter, Vandalia had the best people. Both shifts. Stephanie and Corwynn during the day and Marc and now Stephanie at night.

Didn't know they hired Mark back and restarted night shift or is this just an old post finally getting here..but if you are calling 2200 nights ok. But vand used to be 24/7.RetiredSarge said: ↑The best service I ever had was second shift in Vandalia. If you had a problem you couldn't quite find, Brian on second shift was usually the best. You now have 2 Stephanies one on days and afternoons. But, no more Mark that I know of.
