i was hoping things would pick up by now but doesnt seem to be. I've been in va mt for 2 days. Everything does seem to be short or to texas or west coast. Also for an irritating rate. I think its about time for me to make that move.

Oscar ,At least if you work local and there is no work you're at home. Dump trucking or what ever....

I will say that short haul rates suck right now too.......

I like my cool aid on the rocks .

The only local work to be had in nw IA is side dump (cheaper than cheap) grain hauling (cheaper than side dump) and hogs going to market, the hogs pay good, but the hours are crazy and the days are like 26 hours long, been there done that.

I am going to change up my whole strategy and try something a little different and see what happens before I just give up. I have always done very well here, maybe I'm just getting a little to set in my ways and need to take a different approach at this, time will tell.
