Where are you

Well, I slept longer than I thought but not as long as I would have liked. Now killing time until midnight.

 

I know how that gets, I haul a reefer and majority of my deliveries in Canada are at a big DC. Receiving starts at 10pm and I allways seem to get the 3am times. Usually get to the dc after a full day hauling ### to get there. Then try to have a quick nap but too wired from pushing all day. Finally start to feel sleepy and it's time to go in.
Right now I'm doing the same thing here in Gonzales Ca. Waiting to get the first of two picks on. Is supposed to be ready right about now but still waiting on the call to the dock.
Shouldnt complain though as it was awesome California spring weather today. Sunshine, blue sky and mid 60's temps.

Thank you also. We appreciate it. Thinking it was a false alarm, but the touch and go of things thus far have been nerve racking.

So im just bout to lay down @ my little hidin spot when buddy I mine rolls in to load--I figure great-)better hide or I ain't getting no rest lol!
Asks me what im doin there "I say making believe im mt so I can load corn&haul ###! He thought u goin to c mom kids etc.....i give em the shirt version of how well my day went......then tol him had WD 1st drop am & although been by never been in--so wasn't sure i could hang there--he lagged said place sucked(imagine that)but have looong drive and 3 lanes 2 park in and if i had any hope of getting ckd in by appt time-)it b best to carry my narrah butt down there toot sweet and get checked in---so now @, Winn Dixie--miami--in line--in fence and checked in--Imagine that--what could possibly go wrong? LMAO--
So thus time really going to bed
PS--they even have relatively clean restrooms by guard house to use

First pick is on. Time to get some sleep, then in the morning burn on over to Reedley ca for the last pick.nice light load this time , all bagged salad greens, 22 pallets only 20,000lbs. Should help with the fuel costs a little. Only got 2 more pallets to pick up in Reedley as well.

 

Richfield, UT...back row FlyJ!!! Get up and moving with the breaking sun....best drive in the West...I-70 across Utah.....scenery nothing like it!!!

 

Kinda makes me think I am driving on Mars when I go that way!
