Just for Rocks....

I am parked SORT OF under a tree in front of SDV.
I need to back up a bit, but could get the trailer hit that way.
I could go forward but there is a car that keeps me from going far enough.
Best of all worlds would a dispatch to take 10-12k to an airline.

 

It's not spring yet Dave... or is it in TX? Those trees will be awesome in the spring... a lot of shade for everybody... this is if there's spring this year...

Yeah... I get a variety of load weight... Some are very light, like the one I am picking up right now.. only 5,500 lbs LOVE IT!! But the last one was almost 44.500 and this truck will not take more than that otherwise I will not be able to make my axles legal... The only thing I don't like about light loads is when it's very windy...
My company now is using a 3rd party business to check on each driver's driving habits... and save on fuel, etc... So, when I am very heavy, specially going up mountains for long periods of time, my score on high RPMs gets low... So, asked the guy who gives me my weekly report and scores what I could do about it... he said, nothing... but told me not to worry, I am doing great... Gave me congratulations today for improving my hwy speed... They want us to slow down to 62 and 63 mph whenever possible to save fuel... With this elog, I need to go faster not slower... But I had to slow down this week, going thru so many small towns and country roads...

 

Ok... I am taking my 10 hr brk at shipper in Atlanta. Will drive all night for 2 nights to try to reset this weekend. Live unload at WM store in SD on Monday. I hope WM store will let me park there from Sunday till Monday so I can reset right there. Don't like to recycle hrs... It's a hassle. DSP gave me another p/up after this dlvery. P/up on Tuesday in MN and going to Memphis, TN. Will have my meal here in the truck now and see if I can sleep, after they are done loading... Will have to park on the street - kind of driveway outside shipper... Will have to take my Brazilian tea to try to stay awake and drive all night...

 

Not cold here in Atlanta... But I am still dressed with 2 layers of pants, shirt and sweater, socks, and my cap to keep my ears warm... I like to feel hot...

 

Oh... forgot to say... it's spring break here in ATL and the traffic on I-75, I-285, I-20 is awful!! I am glad that's behind me... and will leave here at 2 am...
