That's the condition of "no sunlight" that exists after midnite, and before dawn. To help our muy confused Californy-ites, that's when the great big yellow light in the sky ain't there. Not surprising y'all don't know about this... requires getting out of bed before noon!

That's why we live in Californity...we get an extra 2-3 hours of sleep while all you midwesterners get the work started.....we finish it for y'all with that extra sunlight time!:biggrin_25522:

I knew there were others out there who knew about early morning dark. We're kind of a cross between vampires, the walking dead, and (ab)normal

Best time TO drive Dave. The four-wheel fools are all in bed, and so are most of the bears.

Do you know what is worse than heavy fog during daylight? Heavy fog at night! :biggrin_2556: Started driving at 23:00 last night and... yes, I like to drive at night sometimes... empty roads and most scale stations are closed... :yes2557: But there was heavy fog last night all the way from Warrenton, MO to St. Joseph, MO and then, some more as I entered SD... And had an idiot 4 wheeler tailgating me for about 30 miles... Arrived at WM store in SD at 7:30 their local time.

The sun was coming out and it wasn't too cold. I was really exhausted... Took a long nap and woke up this evening to find some snow falling and temp dropped to 34F :biggrin_25510: Heard on the radio, it will be in the upper teens tonight...:biggrin_25510: I am sooooo sick and tired of this cold... :biggrin_2552:

Sent msg to breakdown manager (and to my dsp) asking clarification on why I had problems starting the engines and battery beeping when temp gets this low (and I don't idle) when they say their trucks should withstand such temps without need for idling...
Anyway, I am taking my 34 hr reset. Supposed to have a live unload tomorrow evening at the store here. Then, will leave at 2 am to p/up in MN on Tuesday morning and then going to TN.
