WEL (Wisconsin express lines) nice equipment, they do a lot of LTL shipments, as in consolidating. Multiple pick-ups/deliveries and consolidating at their warehouses.

    Mr.Peepers Thanks this.

I have been driving for Wel for the past 9 months. I like the company. I'm Otr and find like any other company it has its ups and downs, but they have been good to me. Let me know any questions you have. We are 90% reefer, kw's, Pete's, Fl, and some intls. Only 48 state and some west coast, but not too much. They have a lp program and oo's too. With a yr exp you should start at .40/mi Otr and ne regional .46. They pay stops not including first and last, det pay after 2hrs, 1hr on ltl's, and unloading pay if you want. Apu's on all trkss, and its pretty much a "big boy" company- they tell you where and when to pu and del and if you have a prob call. As long as you are not majorly out of route, they're fine. If you have family on the route and want to stop there on the way, as long as the trk and trl are safe, they have no prob.

One thing I will say is you can make money and you can't solely look at miles. Stop pays, unloading, det pay and stuff pay more than what you think.

Overall they have been good to me and I can get stressed, but any company can do that. Boils down to your attitude and work ethic.

Hope this helps. Let me know any questions you might have.

If you are getting to the nc and tn area, you may run out of McDonough on ltl loads, possibly toward that way after an ltl from Joliet. If you run Otr you may be run that way. If you live in that area, you can do Otr (maybe regional from McDonough) and when u go home they let you take ur trk n trl home unless you live within 150 mi of a terminal. One thing I like is if the direct freight is short a day, they will find a broker load to keep you moving. They pay layover if u sit for more than 24 hrs wo a load, but I have only received that once in about a year.

If you have to ask, you don't need to know. Makes no difference,if you use dope, you should not be driving.
