Just wondering if USA Truck still does lease purchase, and if so, what the particulars are, and how that works out for anybody here that is on it. Thanks.

Why in the world would anybody want to lease a truck from a company that doesn't take care of their equipment? Yes, they still do leases. But you would be better off leasing elsewhere and coming on as an O/O than as a lease operator.

I would imagine you would have to have a little experience before they would do that anyway.

They were selling off all the Kenworth T660s that used to be company trucks. They must be out of those as lately I'm seeing Prostars being sold. I don't have any solid feedback yet on the new LP program so I couldn't tell you if its going well for the guys or poorly. I know that I was interested until I found out that they were not selling former trainer trucks, just the solo company trucks. Sorry, I had enough problems with 2 autoshift company trucks when I had them and could get them fixed for free. Why would I want to buy a high-mileage one?

Lease purchase is a bad idea no matter where you go. Your best route if you were able to save enough money to buy a truck with cash. Then you gross about 70 to 75 a year in personal income. That's pretty good money.
