I have had much better luck with TK over Carrier. But maybe it's just that, "luck"?

The TK's of the vintage you are looking use less fuel and are quieter than Carrier.

And as far as Utility or Great Dane, they are both good.

And I know people say to avoid Wabash, but I have 1 on the road and it's been totally fine.

If you're willing to go to California, that's probably your ticket for the best reefer on the left coast :biggrin_2559:

the diffrance between thermo king and carrier if u do ice cream or u need sudden cold like negative 20 in 4 hours 50f outside temp like or 35f precoll in 100 f ambient temp within one hour carrier hands down but if you gonna play produce all the time rarely frozen and never ice cream therkmo king is good but great dane heavy and reliable utulity light but might breakdown easy ex when u apply load lock great dane doesnot expent toward outside but utilty becomes expends toward outside but utulity plus whisper thermoiking and freightliner or volvo 670would be great combo for jjobs requares 45000 pound availibilty

I have had two Carriers and I love them they get low on the temp and fast. I have hauled produce to frozen -10 all the time. My trailers have all been Utility and good luck so far. They diamondmotorz in SC they got good trailers.

I use to have a great dane spread with a square box TK unit. the trailer pull great and was the best riding trailer I have ever owned or pulled and the unit never gave me issues and could freeze the box in LA on the hottest summer days or even down in Ar sitting in the sand......
