At least she took herself out and not the truck driver or anyone else for that matter.
road_runner, drvrtech77, SHO-TYME and 2 others Thank this. -
Exactly! Too many times innocent people are killed in instances like these!allniter Thanks this.

I certainly don't celebrate the lose of life nor will I mourn for this idiot. When you choose to do high risk things like using the shoulder to pass you should also except the consequences. Obviously this woman wasn't to worried about the pain and suffering her family would experience as a result of her stupidity. SHE caused her death. Nature calls it "natural selection", High risk behavior=death=threat eliminated. This woman will no longer be a threat to responsible people on the road.SHO-TYME, road_runner, allniter and 1 other person Thank this.

That doesn't make sense. Why would somebody think they can pass a semi on a shoulder?? I wouldn't pass slow moving farm tractors on a shoulder. I'm thinking she was bipolar, and went nuts when she got behind a long semi.
Arizona..Fats Thanks this. -
Apparently this woman thought following a semi was worse than dying!
-
most of them have that mindset anyway as they race you to the end of lane closure just to get in front of you.

No offence, that black dude has no business in those tight pants. I totally agree with your original posts though. Wish she didnt croak though... maybe be paralyzed or something so she can blog with her nose about her experience of passing someone on the left shoulder while talking on the phone.HotH2o Thanks this. -
I see people do it all the time, they are in a hurry and you're in THEIR way!!!! Same as the guy who tried to pass me on the right and slammed into the back of a 1 ton utility truck stopped in backed up traffic for an offramp.

I think the moral of the story (for those who spend half their lives on pavement) is be prepared to see and deal with anything. Don't be surprised at anything you see and don't let the bas tards get you down.
