The way they used to work me was I did alot of " boomerang runs. I would pick up my Tyson load at midnight that had to be in a door in Chicago by 6 in the morning. I wudnt write my log until I was sitting in Chicago. Once I got unloadedd they wud tell me to get a trailer washout and get some John Deere stuff to go back to waterloo. The trailer was MT at 9 in the morning and I wud drive right to where I got my next load . After my 3rd time of not getting reimbursed for washouts I found it real easy to BS Gray the way I did the log . I'd write an imaginary 10 hour in between 6am and 4 pm . Then I'd get back to Waterloo about 10 in the Eve, thats if nothing broke down.

You reffered a friend to Gray Transportation?! What did he do to you ? Did he run your dog over or cheat with your sig/other ? Thre times people would come up to me and ask for me to refer them to Gray and I told them to only go there if they cud get no other job. And it sucked for me getting 200 dollar check busting my tail and I'd see Tyson workers without a drivers license cashing 600 dollar checks at the IP Pony.

I bet he's not your friend any more! I think I'd lock up my dog and my wife! That would keep your dog safe and your wife.... well...... untouched!

My husband has worked for them for 6 months got hired on as menards but the messed his check up got it all figured out or so they say and ever since he has not done anything with menards. Their equipment is ragged and always messed up. his truck has been down more than running as of late the keep only half fixing the issues. keep giving him other trucks one was nasty as could be. guy walked out of the company left trash and piss bottles all over it the other there is smoke coming in the cab and they say oh there is nothing wrong with it. really he has videos amd pics of it to show how they are. not to mention they are telling him he took an advance of 25 bucks when he never did they cant show him any message saying he got an express code. this company is a joke leroy cares more about his horses and money than he does drivers. all i can say to anyone is stay away from grey they are a joke

I work at Gray. Its improved 7 fold in the past year. Better shop mangement, better trucks, Staff are respectful and caring. Its a good company for older drivers who are looking for a more relaxed style driving job. No high pressure, lots of caring people who help everyway possible. Not a lot of miles, not super high pay,but fair. No tolls paid, very little to no detention pay. Not the best job, but it is not the worst either. Be respectful and youll get treated respecfully. They are very layed back caring people who do not freak out when you mess up. They just help you get things straightened out and get you going again. I respect them for that very much. Darrin and Leroy are the nicest bosses I have ever worked for, ever.

They don't reimburse tolls or pay detention, but they're just a peach of a company. Lol
