i can't find anything on google as far as carbon monoxide goes from diesel exhaust. finding that chart above took some work right there.

I was told by people there is no CO in diesel exhaust, but my sons are both graduates of engineering school and they wouldn't say that.

That is an impressive list you found there, Snowwy, there are some extremely poisonous chemicals on that list.

What would be REALLY cool is if they made an exhaust extension that keeps YOUR APU exhaust out of MY cab... the noise and stench is just as bad as sleeping next to a reefer... reefers, however, don't usually choke me out with exhaust.

Please for the love of god call me when that happens. I've been waiting for that since I was 13. Many tack drivers, dry boxes of ammunitions, and hours at the shooting range dialing in scopes later. I'm ready and waiting for this to happen. Alas my dreams of becoming a post apocoliptic zombie survivor will probably never come true but its fun to think about...and if nothing else one of these weekends I'll get around to enjoying all that stock piled ammo.

And after I have shot all that off the next day #### will hit the fan and I'll need it...that's usually how things go:biggrin_25523:

As for a carbon monoxide detector, after discovering my turbo was loose and driving it for almost 10k like that along with a bad clamp under my sleeper and a bad clamp on my passenger side stack I'm still alive. And that was in the winter with the windows rolled up at night. I realize it can potentially kill you but after all that and me not being killed...I think I have a better chance of dying from a meteorite falling from the sky.

I saw an APU exhaust vented into the truck stack. The driver said you have to use flex line from the APU to the stack & the flex line doesn't last long, it develops cracks.

I do know of a driver that took a 100 mg. Viagra, and woke up dead. He said he will never do that again! Another driver I know had a problem with a neighbors dog getting in his garbage can. The dog slept in the neighbors house at night. He put a 100 mg. Viagra in some hamburger meat & placed it by the garbage can. The next day their cat woke up dead and the dog went to the animal shelter for disposal.

Lol that's pretty good. 100mg of Viagra? Alright if you need that much I think that's gods way of telling you to just say no.

try being in a truck with engine blowby. and we're not talking light smoke either. we're talking 6 pistons with the top rings BROKE. if the cops hadn't pulled the truck over and put it oos. becuase he thought it was on fire. it'd probably never get fixed.
