I was wondering if any of the LTL carriers pull triples in lets say for example Oregon where they're legal or any state that pulls triples. Is it common for them to pull triples and would it only be the line haul drivers?
Do LTL carriers pull triples?

Yes they do and it's only LTL. Mostly in the western states but they are permitted on some turnpikes out east.

LTL pulls turnpike doubles, triples, doubles and Rocky Mountain sets. Although some LTL only pull vans

Yes city drivers do pull triples out West.
-
P/D drivers once in awhile. Usually line haul. Some weather conditions triples are prohibited. Snow pack/winds over 35mph/visibility under 500ft.
-
triples arent allowed in the snow, and yes some of our P/D runs are triples runs...Out west usually is where you will see the crazy combinations.
-
One would hope that the P/DC drivers who pull triples don't have much turning to do.

Conway (all LTLs) requires that u have doubles and triples endorsements. In Cali no triples, but Oregon and Nevada u see them. I would love to see someone pull triples in downtown LA. LOL.

Guess I'll be staying in Cali if I get into LTL haha. Thanks for the info guys.

Yes they run them on the ohio turnpike, indy also on the turnpike .
