Hotel in Van Buren for USA Truck Orientation

    I am scheduled to go out Monday from Austin to Van Buren for orientation. The recruiter told me that the bus line would drop me off and that I call a cab to pick me up. She then told me the place I would be staying, but I forgot to write it down. Anyone know what hotel I will be going to?

    Well if you are driving now or just starting out I highly suggest that you get yourself either a loose leaf binder with paper in it or a Steno Pad that is a tablet with wire binding at the top to WRITE EVERYTHING Down! In the time I have been driving I have gone through 3 of these full of note wherefores and what nots to look back on and know where or what I am doing. Just a suggestion!

    The Meadors must have been something during prohibition!!!! LOL. At least D's is pretty good and a short walk from room.

    I enjoy the food and the wait staff at Ds. And the discount to USA people is nice also.. I usually head there whenevr I'm in town.

    They start you out at the Days Inn then they move you to the rat hole. More food and services in closer proximity of the rat hole though.

    When I was in Orientation, I took one look at that rat hole and promptly went and found my own motel. I would not now nor ever stay at the Meaders. D's however, comes reccomended. Matter of fact, I'll be stopping by tomorrow. :)

    I stayed at Meadors and it was ok. But the recruiter did nt tell me that we would have to move to USA Truck bunkhouse next day, so when yhou go to orientation after 1st day of orientation show up at bus to day one orientation with your bags packed. Then you will mover to the USA terminal.
