Maybe you were just a bad employee? Not every one has had the bad treatment you have.

Maybe I don't like being led around by the nose, being told when I can sleep, eat, #### on an on! Also it should tell you something when I would rather foot all the bills of owning a truck, then be a a plebe like you!

Did someone say they live in a truck for 6 months at a time?

I feel SO sorry for someone that has absolutely no social or family life, and spends all their living days at work. Gonna die a lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, pathetic man.

Probably the very guy that sits at the counter in a truck stop restaurant and TRYS to flirt with the waitresses whom are obviously turned off, appalled, and fearful of the $.69 tip they are sure to get. You know....the guy that annoys other paying customers like me, and regret they every sat down.

Yep; that would most likely be the shell of a man in the fast truck that you see pass you 4 or 5 times in a steady day, because they stop at every truck stop just looking for some acceptance and/or companionship from ANYONE that will pay attention to them for 3 minutes or longer.

The same "6 months on the road" guy, will have the ultimate loud C.B. and demand to be heard whether they say something or just make silly noises---to get some sort of attention to fill the void in their lives, where an actual life should be.

These guys will also be the ones who sit in the drivers lounge or waiting room while being loaded or unloaded, rather than in their truck; because they just want to spark up a conversation with anyone and everyone----because at the end of the work day, they have nobody to call...nobody to love...nobody that knows or cares that they exist.

Go ahead and feel like you are better than anyone else Mr. On The Road For 6 Months At A Time----I would MUCH rather be me...because I have people that love me, want to see me, and care about me. In short; I have a life.

Sounds like this company should be called "Melt Down Truck Lines". :biggrin_2552:

I wouldn't stay out longer than 5 days. I did my time and that was staying out for 2 weeks. I love these companies that will get you hone weekly...for a pay cut. That's non sense.
