Didn't read through all the posts so I apologize if this one has already been mentioned, but White Wave Foods in City
Of Industry, Ca is about the worst I have been to. If you are going here to make sure to bring plenty of food, water and cigareets. No place to park, extremely tight docks and about 9 hours to get loaded

First off, I didnt even so much as raise my voice and I have not even had problems with WERNER... a supposedly terrible company. I got TRAINER OF THE MONTH... which puts me in the top 1% of trainers.... so I have a pretty good idea of how to handle myself.

That said... you just made one of the most ignorant posts ever... Truckers have all sorts of problems and ignorant truckers like you try and blame the victim. I have no problems with anybody else... I try and find the best about people... but when you start threatening someone with false arrest... just out of nowhere. Thats too much. Im not going to bend over and deal with that...

When I got threatened with being arrested.... not only had I already communicated with dispatch, the broker, and the company.... BUT THE MANAGER OF ONE OF THE PLANTS APOLOGIZE TO ME.

IF THE MANAGER OF THE PLANT SEES THAT HIS PEOPLE WERE ACTING IMPROPER.... NEWS FLASH... ITS NOT ME!

The head of our local terminal got involved... and how often is a customer so badly behaved that a company tells a customer to stop bothering its drivers?

We all know companies rarely stand up for their driver... but Werner had a terminal manager stand up to this company. That says it all...

And funny how you only remember the negative posts, but you totally overlook the posts giving advice to new drivers.... and my "how to" to deal nicely with dispatchers and customers.

You try and say I caused the problem... am I some sort of inferior race where only I can get angry... and the guards are a superior race that never gets mad? We are both human beings and you act like shippers that EVERYONE had issues with.... is perfect and all the problems are caused by the drivers...

I have never once raised my voice to a shipper, receiver, or dispatcher.... and I have been recognized for being very well behaved.

Next time someone attacks a family member, I expect you to tell them the same thing... blame them for it and tell them to be nicer to the crazy who went off on them. But lets face it... if it was your family member... you would be screaming bloody murder.

EVERYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT HOW BADLY TRUCKERS ARE TREATED.... AND THEN PEOPLE LIKE YOU GO AND TRY AND TELL TRUCKERS THAT ITS ALL OUR FAULT. ITS NOT... ITS PEOPLE LIKE YOU GIVING EXCUSES TO PEOPLE WHO ABUSE TRUCKERS.

Thats why trucking had a 109% turnover rate last year... and you are trying to blame truckers for people treating them badly. Get with the program... some companies treat people badly...

This entire section is filled with people calling companies bad... because of waiting times... and yet you think its AOK for them to threaten truckers for no reason... or that the victim caused the issue.

So all you did was show up to unload and got arrested ? That is certainly THE worst place to unload.

I had a load where I was threatened with arrest before I even got there. Picked it up in Texas, boss told me to go home for the weekend, didn't bother to tell the broker anything, and the customer was left wondering where their load was Monday morning while I was still hundreds of miles away. They kept calling me threatening me and when I finally got it there Wednesday morning, after finding out the truck wouldn't start Sunday evening and spending all of Monday working on it for free, they let it sit there till 1pm when they got around to unloading it. Didn't bother me, was just one of those things.

What does bother me is when you get it there when it's supposed to be and they tell you they're not going to unload you because you were supposed to call ahead of time and it doesn't say that anywhere on the BoL. Not my fault and no I'm not sitting here all weekend in your tiny parking lot.

Yessir....I can tell by your response that you are absolutely the calm, level-headed type. Little defensive, aren't ya?

And two years experience, and you're in the top 1% of trainers at Werner for a given month? This explains what I see more Werner trucks with bent cab extenders then any other company, hands-down.

And, specifically, what does one have to do to be named TOTM at Werner? Criteria? Just curious....

hilariously ironic you would say that Packard lol I was parked at the pilot in Milford, ct yesterday and 4 werners pretty close to each other up in the back and ALL were missing the fairing on one side or the other. Stood out like a sore thumb. That's too funny. Are we seeing a trend here? hehehehe

do have to give credit where due though lest I beat up on them too hard lol one came in later and blindsided into the spot, one shot, no pull-up, even got out and looked twice. They do have at least ONE good driver lol

I'll add a bad one. Visy recycling in conyers GA. Got to have an appt to deliver scrap cardboard. You get called to the dock via cb radio. You end up sitting 14 hours usually and end up dog tired BC you gotta sit up and listen to the cb
