    Hello all !

My name is S. Kayou and I'm from Long Island NY . I'm a 34 year old corporate desk jockey that's trying to
break my way into trucking . My Handle/username is Kayou from the bayou its a nickname I picked up while serving in the Army that's followed me for years .

My second road test is Thursday so wish me luck !
( I nicked the end of a curb while making a tight left turn and was failed my first go . )

NFI Industries in New Jersey hires new CDL graduates.
The best money will be in tanker/hazmat.

Here's some good ones that hire new CDL grads:

    Superior Carriers
    Schneider tanker division

Could you possibly explain to me why the instructor at the school made us shift gears at 2500 RPM ?
I thought you were supposed to shift gears at 1500 RPM ?

Must be something specific to that particular training truck. I've never seen that before.
