When you are looking for a house like that you don't really concern yourself with its empty weight. You pretty much just accept you won't be pulling anything over 40k lbs. Most that Crap doesn't pay worth a darn anyway. I think I pulled ten loads least year that weighed over 40k. And probably 75 loads that were under 10k. Funny thing is, every one of those light loads paid substantially better than the heavy ones. And got to keep much more of it due to getting better mpg.

It's getting little more costly as I find the cam shaft scored pretty bad and few bad rocker followers. Cam kit with new rockers is adding 2500$ to the parts bill.
Yes I was going to reflash the ecm whiile I had it down but going to be out of money before I get to that point, so that will have to wait.
I am putting in a new LIPE 2300lb clutch in and new motor mount and bushings in the clutch linkage.
    Pulling the trans. today.

I bet it's even nicer at night with all those lights.

I give 6 months and you'll be over to flat or step.

Your sure going to enjoy that truck. It totally changes life on the road.

But the guys at the shop no good. Been here a hour this morning trying to pay my bill and the shop guy has no clue where my paperwork is. Then when they found my old parts him and the parts guy had no clue if they even put the new actuator in. They did cause I stood in there hip pocket and watched but anyways. Shop not worth a carp but steve himself on the mobile service truck is

The truck was originally from California. He sold it to a dealer in NE then i got it from a dealer in MI.

Haven't even driven it yet because of the snow on the ground. I got in touch with the original owner and talked with him a bit. He said with a 1/2 tank of fuel and 40 gal of water, she's right at 25,000.

Not for long PoPs if i can help it. I haven't made what i would like to make on the van side. Changing coordinators on Monday.

I need to hook up with you Flightline and get a look at your castle. I talked with the previous owner last night and he assured me i made a good purchase. Right before he sold it, he gutted the interior, double isulated it and re sealed everything. He wasn't happy with the floor so he replaced that too. He had everything reupholstered while it was apart. The frame was blasted and repainted every 2 years because he hated rust lol. This guy was a trip, when he did something, it was done right. The only thing i found was, it needs 4 air bags on the rear and a couple of drums down the road. No fridge or tv either. It has a sound system in it and all the extra goodies on the dash. After all that work he did and the rebuild on the motor, he put 60,000 miles on it and sold it because of the CARB regs, SMH.
As far as flats, i'm hoping to be there by March. Vans just aren't doing it for me.
