Dropped and picked in the upstate today, now I'm in Indiana waiting for morning so I can go to breakfast with another member. .

DOT were busy in NY , PA and OH today!

I was in sunny Florida til Wed afternoon.



Other driver left in the morning... his dsp got him a load picking up nearby and going to Oregon... Me... I was given a load to p/up in NC and going to one of the co's warehouse in north of Indiana... Am I going to see snow?? Shall see...

 

Sometime in the night/early AM Friday we are supposed to get freezing rain.
I predict at least 300 vehicles MESSED UP if it happens. We in Houston almost NEVER get ice.
As for me, another day.

 

Sigh. At 10:45 I was told to come down to two doors down from the office for 2pc at 2148#
The dims said they'd fit in the truck so I was only about 618# overweight. Took it to SDV.
Picked up two cartons at 51# at SDV for Cargolux. Then grabbed the trailer for 4311# from SDV to Cargolux.

I WAS to try and be in Tomball by 5PM. Told Greg if they weren't going to wait after 5 I made no promise I could get there.

So it is my first morning run. The roads are going to be NASTY. Both bridges in Shepherd have curves on them. I can just see cars and trucks ping ponging off the sides!

I'm going through town and under the RR bridge because I ain't a fool!
